I am SO happy to share a relaxed mountain family session that I had the honor of capturing, for such a lovely family at Hatcher Pass! This session was as amazing as the location itself! With the gorgeous Alaskan landscape adding such a beautiful backdrop for this beautiful family session. A little side note – I had the honor of capturing Jackie & Nick’s wedding too!! And the fact that they contacted me to capture this new stage of their lives is so special. I loved meeting their baby girl and capturing this amazing family session!
Candid Mountain Family Session
This family session was baby-led, natural, and so genuine. I captured so many beautiful interactions between the baby and her parents. I know that they will cherish all these amazing memories for many years to come! These candid moments are always the ones that create the most special memories it truly shows the bond between the family. Wandering around the mountains, playing with the baby, and just hanging out allowed me to capture some really beautiful photos. I do believe that capturing these moments is really important, and I say this because babies grow up so fast, and it’s important to capture these fleeting moments before they slip away!
The beauty of these sessions lies in their authenticity. I always try to capture candid moments of the family being themselves, the joy, the love, laughter, and even those quiet moments that show the family’s unique story. What makes this session even more special is the fact that I’ve been part of Jackie and Nick’s journey right from their wedding. Seeing my wedding clients turn into adorable little families is one of the most beautiful things about my job. And it’s a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.
