I am so happy to share with you a glimpse of a wedding I had the pleasure of shooting this summer at Gloryview Farm in beautiful Wasilla, Alaska. This venue was the perfect backdrop for a rustic modern wedding. I had a blast shooting this wonderful wedding day. First off, let me tell you about the couple. Skye and Wesley are a dynamic duo filled with energy and love, that is truly so infectious. Wesley is an Alaska State Trooper, and decided to bring a unique twist to the wedding that had everyone raving with excitement! He decided to have an flashy grand entrance to the reception that was nothing short of speclacular with the couple arriving in the back seat of a cop SUV! Talk about making an entrance!

But wait, there’s more! Skye decided to spice things up with a fake first look. Imagine the groom’s surprise when he turned around to see one of the groomsmen in a wedding DRESS! See the photos below. It was a moment of pure hilarity and fun that set the tone for the rest of the morning. Following the fun and games, we did a quick shoot with the groom and groomsmen because, how could we not?! The bromance is real.
The love between Skye and Wesley and their interactions with their friends and family made this wedding a dream to capture. Every smile, every heartfelt moment was a demonstration of the love and the affection their loved ones have for them. The decor and environment of the wedding were a perfect blend of rustic and modern. The wooden accents of Gloryview Farm provided a warm, rustic backdrop, while the elegant details brought in a touch of modernity. The combination was absolutely STUNNING.

What truly made this wedding special, however, was the people. The love and support from everyone present was overwhelming. There was so much laughter and so many beautiful moments that I found myself smiling behind the camera more times than I could count. Skye and Wesley’s wedding was an absolute blast. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and beautiful moments that the couple and their guests will cherish forever. I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to capture these memories for such an incredible couple.
