Alaska elopements
Girdwood, Alaska: A beautiful location for a forest fairytale type elopement
One of my all time favorite elopement locations, in Alaska, is Girdwood. Its endless beauty is what makes it one of my top recommended places – If you choose to elope here, you’ll have the choice of waterfalls, creek shores, immense forests, fields, and mountaintops. Not only does it have the vibe of intimate small town, its only about a 45 minute drive from Ted Stevens International Airport which makes planning a destination wedding or elopement easy!
A + H: A Love Story
It was such an honor to shoot this intimate forest elopement for Allie & Hayden. Everything was so personal & laid back. As an Alaska elopement photographer, I live for sweet little elopements like this.
A Review:
After deciding against a big wedding, my fiancé and I chose to have an intimate elopement in Girdwood, Alaska down Crow Creek Mine road. My vision and vibe for our elopement was moody and romantic, with a touch of whimsical, and Chelsa 100% delivered.
She was professional but fun, structured when we needed to be but also go with the flow, a photographer and a witness for us, and we had a total blast with her. Our pictures turned out exactly how I was wanting them to and I wouldn’t have wanted anyone else there to celebrate our day with us.
She laughed with us, she cried with us, and we loved having her creative soul with us for our special day. Chelsa made our already perfect day even better.
