I am so excited to share this epic Alaskan elopement! Kelsey and Hunter, an adventurous and madly-in-love couple, chose the stunning Matanuska Glacier as their wedding altar. And it was nothing short of amazing. The love story of Kelsey and Hunter is one for the books. They started dating in January of 2019 and Hunter, being the romantic he is, dropped to one knee in MEXICO to propose in 2021! Seriously, gentlemen, take notes! This adventurous couple knew from the start that they didn’t want a typical big wedding. They wanted something different, something adventurous, and something that truly reflect who they are as a couple. And they definitely accomplished this! Kelsey & Hunter’s Epic Alaskan Elopement

Kelsey and Hunter decided to work closely with their planner Rebecca from Laboum Events @laboumeventsak to make sure that every detail truly represented their adventurous spirits. With her help, they made the decision to elope on the amazing Matanuska Glacier. Right from the start, the day filled with memorable moments. The most unforgettable one? The first look! But this was no ordinary first look, oh no! Kelsey and Hunter had butterflies released as they laid eyes on each other in their wedding attire for the first time. Talk about a magical moment!

Then came the real adventure – the journey to the glacier. As they exchanged their vows and said: “I do” in front of a glacial waterfall, it was a scene straight out of a romantic movie! The beauty of the glacier coupled with their passionate love for each other made it a moment to remember forever! But the adventure didn’t stop there! The couple enjoyed a 9-day trip to Alaska, and trust me, they made every second count! They started on a marine tour in Seward where they saw whales (yes, whales!), enjoyed a dog sled ride in Girdwood, and as if this wasn’t enough… they got matching tattoos on their last day! The tattoos read: “They say nothing lasts forever,” “but they ain’t seen us together.” How cool is that?
