Intimate Boat Elopement in Seward, Alaska

Elopements

Eloping has always been seen as a personal, intimate, and deeply romantic way to celebrate love. But what if we told you that eloping does not mean you have to give up on having your closest friends and family around? Marley and Tim’s intimate boat elopement in the beautiful ocean off Seward is the perfect example of how an elopement can be personal, intimate, and so incredibly fun! Marley and Tim’s elopement was unlike any other. They chose to exchange their vows on a boat, surrounded by the beautiful ocean and their loved ones! This may sound daunting, but it’s 1000% doable and was a whole lot of fun!

Marley & Tim’s Fun Intimate Boat Elopement

Marley and her girls began their day getting ready at the Salted Roots Cabins right on the shores of Resurrection Bay. Later Tim showed up for a first look giving the couple a little time to take each other in before heading off to the harbor to embark on their biggest adventure yet: Marriage.

The boat was filled with their closest friends and family and made for a gorgeous setting for their ceremony, and reception. The deep blue and green waters and the mountain ranges serving as the most natural and beautiful backdrop for such an intimate celebration. One of their closest friends performed a smudging ceremony before the wedding ceremony to clear any negative energy. Then Marley and Tim, exchanged their vows. The smiles, the laughter, the tears of joy – it was amazing to witness! And the best part? The authenticity and true friendship on board was palpable, you could genuinely feel the try love and friendship between everyone present. Everyone on board was there because they held a special place in Marley and Tim’s hearts.

This day was a fun one, it was a day filled with laughter! This crew knew how to party and enjoy a day out on the water! After the ceremony, the boat transformed into a celebration. There were toasts, dances, and a random heartwarming moment where another boat witnessed the ceremony from afar and decided to deliver a little wedding gift: a bucket of Redvines Licorice. As fate would have it they were also out celebrating their anniversary.

The joy on Marley and Tim’s faces said it all – this was their perfect, chill day! If you’re thinking about eloping, consider this: If you can dream it, you can do it. It doesn’t have to be just the two of you. You can take your favorite people along for the ride! An intimate ceremony on a boat, accompanied by a fun celebration, is definitely doable and, as Marley and Tim prove, can be the perfect way to start your journey as a married couple!
